FREE Rides into Joshua Tree National Park! Roadrunner Shuttle starts Feb 1st, 2018

One of the amazing benefits of living in Twentynine Palms is access to Joshua Tree National Park .  This backyard paradise provides endless hiking trails, rock climbing, wildflower blooms, camp-outs, and overall fun for everyone.

However, if you've spent any time in JTNP, you know how busy it can during high season resulting in long entry lines and full parking areas. (See NPS-Overcrowded ).

As Marine families, you may find yourselves with family visiting and be wanting to explore Joshua Tree NP but without a vehicle or desire to drive-in looking for a spot to park.  This is where the Roadrunner Shuttle can help!  With many Park and Ride spots leaving Twentynine Palms and FREE passage, what could be easier?

With great excitement, Joshua Tree National Park is introducing their flagship program, the ROADRUNNER SHUTTLE.  Shuttle service will begin on February 1st running through April 30, 2018, providing daily service from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.  This service will provide passengers from Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree Village into the Park every two hours.  The schedule also allows hopping between the Park's interior hot spots of Barker Dam, Intersection Rock, Hidden Valley, Ryan Mountain, and Jumbo Rocks every thirty minutes.

Twentynine Palms passengers can utilize any of the many convenient parking areas including Stater Bros, Rite Aid, Holiday Inn, Twentynine Palms Transit Center (Adobe and Cactus Rd) as well as the small lot of Bucklin Park behind Twentynine Palms Visitor Center and Chamber of Commerce.  Joshua Tree passengers are encouraged to use public and street parking.  Please note, that Joshua Tree NP has requested shuttle users to not park at Oasis or Joshua Tree Visitor Center parking lots.
